Setting Down Passengers
If you are setting down passengers at the airport, there is a designated set down area located just outside the main entrance to the Terminal Building. This is a set down area only and cars left unattended will be clamped.

Picking up Arriving Passengers
Waiting is not permitted in the set down area or in front of the Terminal Building. If you are meeting someone from a flight we advise you to use either Car Park 1 or Car Park 2 both of which are located close to the Terminal Building.

Unattended Vehicles
Please note that the road outside the Terminal Building is a set-down area only, to facilitate the unloading of people and/or baggage. Due to the volume of traffic using Galway Airport and in the interest of good traffic management, vehicles are not permitted to await arriving passengers outside the Terminal Building.

For security reasons, vehicles should not be left unattended at any time. Any vehicle left unattended outside the terminal will be clamped by Airport Security. There is a charge of €80 to have the clamp removed.
